Founder, President and Owner, In 1983 Jerry's vision became reality when he took his years of experience at Pitney Bowes and started Independent Mailing Systems. Jerry is also the pastor of two churches, so yes, he stays pretty busy serving his customers, all the while serving Almighty God. His wife and daughter also work with the family business.

As the wife of the owner and CEO, Brenda is a
vital element in the goings-on at IMS. Her positive outlook and personality makes working at Independent Mailing Systems a real pleasure. Just another reason this company has thrived over the years when so many others have fallen short.
Thil
Office Manager
Thil's real title should be VP in Charge of Miscellaneous Stuff and Things. A real difference maker! She grew up in Wallace, North Carolina, came to work at IMS in 1999 and wears many hats for the company. She enjoys interacting with the customers and working to help solve their mailing challenges. Thil is married and mother of two.
Christi
Marketing Director
Christi, Jerry's daughter, joined the family business in 2012, initially in sales then recruited to learn the business from the ground up (starting as a janitor). She is also involved in the finance and marketing departments. She's the mother of five, so like her father, Jerry, stays busy.

Hicks
Service Tech
Hicks was an Eagle Scout with the BSA, a graduate of UNC-Wilmington and came on-board IMS in 2008. Hicks is the father of two and is also considered the IT specialist in the office. The most enjoyable parts of the job for Hicks? Meeting the needs of the customers and looking forward to something new everyday.

Alan has been with IMS for over 25 YEARS! He loves his work (obviously) and helping customers with their mailing systems... Alan is a big sports fan and follows the Carolina Tar heels and Carolina Panthers and was a huge Dale Earnhardt (#3) fan! If you have a problem or question with your system he's a great one to ask!

Leroy lives and enjoys his life working for IMS from his home in Wilmington, NC. Leroy has three adorable little girls. He endeavors to help companies find the value in saving trips to the post office and making shipping and receiving more cost efficient and productive. Productivity is it's own kind of savings...

Webmaster/Customer Relations
Tony was born in Iowa but over 30 years ago he moved to North Carolina, learned how to say "ya'll", worked in broadcasting and then ran his own award winning advertising & media production/graphic design company in Wilmington, NC. He's now part of the adopted family of IMS, Inc.
